Svijet je u nedjelju potresla tragična vijest da se među devetero poginulih u padu helikoptera u Kaliforniji nalazi i Kobe Bryant.
Pogibija košarkaške legende potresla je svijet, a tužni izrazi sućuti stižu sa svih strana.
Od Kobea se tako oprostio i AC Milan, njegov omiljeni nogometni klub.
"Nemamo riječi kojima bi opisali koliko smo šokirani zbog odlaska jednog od najvećih sportaša svih vremena i navijača Rossonera, Kobea Bryanta", napisali su.
Mnoge sadašnje i bivše NBA zvijezde izrazile su nevjericu zbog te vijesti. "Bože, molim te, ne", napisao je Dwyane Wade. "Ovo nije stvarnost", riječi su Paula Piercea. "Nevjerojatno tužan i tragičan dan", piše Scottie Pippen. "Sve momčadi trebale bi umiroviti broj 24", napisao je mladi košarkaš Miami Heata Tyler Herro.
Taman u trenucima kada je stizala potvrda tragične vijesti počinjala je utakmica Houston Rocketsa i Denver Nuggetsa, a susret je počeo minutom šutnje.
Ispred dvorane Los Angeles Lakersa Staples Centera spontano se okupljaju navijači kako bi izrazili sućut zbog smrti legende njihova kluba.
Izrazima sućuti pridružuju se i hrvatski košarkaši i sportaši. "Ovo ne može biti istina", napisao je košarkaš Los Angeles Clippera Ivica Zubac na Twitteru. "Ne, ne, neeeeee," napisao je hrvatski košarkaš Mario Hezonja. Objave na Instagramu posvetili su mu i Ivan Rakitić, Dino Rađa, Ivano Balić, Šime Vrsaljko, Ivan Perišić...
"Kobe je bio besmrtan, Ponekad svemir uzrokuje ove stvari," kazala je zvijezda NBA lige i Los Angeles Lakersa LeBron James.
"Svi igrači maštali su kako će jednog dana postati poput njega, ili poput Michaela Jordana prije njega. Teško je ovo," rekao je bivši trener Stan Van Gundy.
"Supruga Janet i ja nemamo riječi kojima bismo mogli opisati šok i tugu koju osjećamo nakon smrti Kobea Bryanta. Upućujemo molitve za njega i njegovu obitelj," napisao je najveći hokejaš svih vremena Wayne Gretzky.
Oglasio se i američki predsjednik Donald Trump.
"Stigle su vijesti da su košarkaška legenda Kobe Bryant i još tri osobe poginuli u padu helikoptera u Kaliforniji. To je strašna vijest," napisao je Trump na Twitteru.
